lnspired by Walter Farley’s The Black Stallion series, eleven-year-old Jody Jones wrote and illustrated her own series of books about a racehorse. They were handwritten on loose-leaf paper and stapled together, but her friends couldn’t wait to see what happened next!
Currently, Jody is working on a young adult science fiction novel and a picture book about adopting a most unusual pet. She belongs to the Saskatchewan Writer’s Guild and CANSCAIP.
Jody loves science fiction and mysteries. She cranks up the volume when listening to her vintage record collection. Her dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Swissy cross, are always ready to join her for a walk. She lives with her family in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada.
